Whatever

I don't know yet what I'm writing about. We'll just see where this goes.

We got a new kitty from Amy. It was a secret for about three weeks, I think. Amy knew we wanted her (we wanted the kitty, not Amy), Levi and Heather knew we were going to get her, but Myron was out of the loop. As I type, Secret is launching an attack on the laptop. She's so adorable!!! We picked her up from Amy's house on our recent weekend in Rupert. Myron first saw her in Levi's arms and said, "No, no, no, no, no, no!!" Within five minutes, Myron was holding her, petting her and cooing to her. He is such a softie. Levi didn't want the naming of her, so I said we should call her Secret or Surprise, and Secret won out. I told Heather the kitty's name and sang "Secret, secret! I've got a secret!" to which Heather responded "Well, now I have to call her Mister Roboto". I hadn't even realized that was the song I was singing. The phrase just popped into my head and I sang it. I really hope Heather forgets to call her Mr. Roboto.

We went fishing at the beginning of last weekend---that Friday morning. We met Steve, Sherry, Cherise, and Layla at Devil's Creek Reservoir and Steve took us out on his fishing boat. The boys had a good time!! Everyone went except Heather, who wasn't able to get the time off of work. She was disappointed not to be able to go. Austin caught two fish, one of which is labeled "delicious bass" in our freezer. Steve very kindly cleaned our fish and fileted them and vacuum-packed them for us. They froze at Mom's house and she held them for us until we were getting ready to come home. I caught one, Myron caught one or two, Steve caught a couple. I'm not exactly sure on the number of fish caught, because I myself got caught---caught up in Sherry's description of the future design of our house that she dreamed up for us. Still, we ended up with two meals' worth of trout and one package of delicious bass.

I got sunburned on Steve's boat. My nose finished peeling yesterday, but my arms only started peeling today. I don't know why I felt to tell you this, but---- now you know and you can do whatever you want to do with this exciting tidbit of information.

And in closing, I have only this to say: The first Pirates of the Caribbean was the best one.

It was fun to see you when you were here! The name of the kitty makes me smile :) And I agree that the 1st Pirates movie was the best.

I am so happy that he gave in to a kitty. We have some left over litter that I will have to drop off because I didn't know what to do with it. I think we may even have some litter box liners too. I will have to check.
Your trip sounds like it was a lot of fun!

K I'm dumb or old or something, but who is Mr Roboto?

Mr. Roboto is a song from Styx, in which there is a snippet that goes "secret, secret.....I got a secret"....which is where my stuff I said came from. Wow, I could have worded that a lot better!!!
