Yuck!!!
I told our ward choir that we wouldn't have practices until my cast came off. It's off. Can I have a pretend cast to wear on Sundays? (Insert childish whines and groans here)

Maybe you can just wrap an ace bandage around your hand and tell everyone the dr has forbidden you to wave it around in any matter whatsoever.
I love watching you with the choir. You do an excellent job!
